Talking To Your Kids About Sex

Today I was on The Tyra Banks Show talking about how parents can talk with their kids – whether toddlers or teenagers – about sex. The show also featured wonderful mothers who are doing their best to navigate the tricky waters of talking about sex, condoms, periods, abstinence and birth control. The children and teenagers on the show were all so smart and curious about the world and it was terrific of them and their families to share their stories with Tyra’s viewers.

If you have questions about talking to your children about sex, please feel free to email me at DrDebby@mysexprofessor.com I know parenting can be tricky and I’m here to help!

I don't and won't have children because I am not into raising them. However, I often wonder how interesting it is that the covers of books and magazines expose children to all kinds of advanced sexual concepts. Cosmo mag at the checkout aisle where the entire cover is about killer orgasms and the top 69 ways to stimulate a man. Mens exercise and fashion mags with 'How to get a woman into bed.' Sometimes, I think that we might as well just plop them down in front of the TV at age 6 and show them one of the better prono movies. I wonder how 'naturalist' families handle this stuff.

Or we could just let them watch the Tyra Banks show. :P
