For the third year in a row, I helped to host the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent’s Health (ICAH) annual fundraiser this past spring. This year it was at a fantastic gallery space in Chicago and was a brunch rather than an evening event. I always like checking out party photos and was surprised to learn that a photo of me chatting with Ken Lehman (a very bright and committed philanthropist and the dad of a phenomenal woman who has been instrumental with ICAH’s work) was making its way around the internet. You can browse the Flickr photo stream to see photos of me introducing a filmmaker and congresswoman (I look awkward in the photos, but they were riveting – Congresswoman Jan Schakowsy is one of the most poised women I’ve met), and photos of ICAH’s director, board members, staff, and the fantastic youth who helped create their recent promotional film about the importance of advocating for adolescent health issues.
