Legalized Sex Work in Victoria, Australia

When I first arrived in Melbourne last January, one of the first things I did was take a tram to the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre. Genitals In The Wild: Coffee Break

Melbourne is famous for its coffee and the baristas pride themselves on their foamy art, the heart being the most common design.  Yesterday, my latte was presented to me upside-down and I noticed that the foam resembled something altogether anatomically different. Pleasure Salon Melbourne: Erotic Piercing

Earlier this week, I attended Pleasure Salon Melbourne with a couple of my more sexually open-minded girlfriends. One doesn’t get one’s hair done at Pleasure Salon – it’s a “salon” in the historical French tradition, in which like-minded people gather to discuss noteworthy issues. This month, Pleasure Salon was held at Miss Libertine, one of Melbourne’s many cool, elaborately themed bars. With walls painted black with ornate details, and gilded vintage birdcages hanging from the ceiling, it seemed appropriately reminiscent of a bygone age. Continue Reading →
