Gender And The Marriage Name-Change

What happens when a man adopts his wife’s last name upon marriage? A boatload of trouble, apparently. A Florida man legally changed his name in order to take his wife’s last name, doing all the necessary paperwork to get a new passport, Social Security card, and so on. Equality Between The Sexes Means More Sex

According to a recent study, in countries with greater equality between the sexes, people have more sex. The hypothesis advanced is that in societies where women don’t have a lot of opportunities (education, career, independence), sex becomes the one asset that they can control, and thus sex is a commodity to be withheld or granted based on what it gets the woman. Yes, it’s a mercenary way of viewing things, but what else could you do given limited resources and freedoms? This is yet another great reason to support women’s rights!
