Although this article is from Fox News (please don’t click the little “x” on this window just yet!), I found what Dr Madeleine Castellanos had to say about the penis and how it ages with a body to be very interesting – and I don’t even have a penis.
As everyone knows, certain changes happen to people’s bodies as they age – things start to droop, more lines appear, etc. There are ways to combat many of the age-related changes, and society seems to be especially interested in this. I find reading “Guys, Are You Aging Down There?” to be appealing because so many articles about aging and the body are aimed at women or about women. This article points out that three main penis characteristics can change with age, and that they aren’t the end of the world; color and general appearance, size (both the penis and testicles can shrink slights), and feeling (decreased sensitivity).
There are ways to deal with these changes. While quantity and frequency of sex (of any type) tends to decrease as we age, many people still report having great sex (and this post even says that sex gets better with age). The article has good advice about habits that can also effect a person’s penis. I think of this as a reason to find new things that feel good and new ways of pleasuring (that said, ask me how I feel about this in 20 years).
