What does a $5500 Escort look like?

Do they really look any different from $200/hour escorts or $1000/hour escorts? In my opinion, not so much – what one is often paying for is the overall service of the business operation – meaning, one in which your privacy feels guaranteed. Not that that always works! But certainly you can get a full range of services from highly attractive women and men for less – but you may not feel as "secure" with your identity. I guess the Spitzer (and Heidi Fleiss) cases are among the many that suggest that even high rates do not necessarily protect one’s privacy.

But if you want to see what a $5500 escort looks like, this is what came to me via email today… see photo after the  jump.

Yep, this is one of those scandals where the random email jokes probably won’t stop for a while. I hope the news coverage lets up in the next day or two though, out of respect for his family.

You know, I keep hearing people say how absurd it is to pay $5500 for an escort and that, if paying that much, she better be able to do this and that. I’m glad you are commenting on the business aspect. The escort service (being referenced in this story) was marketed toward people who expected a certain amount of privacy.

I would like to say that I’m more concerned with Spitzer’s family and the other members of the sex industry who will be impacted by sensational news coverage.
