What About Same-Sex Divorce?

Image courtesy of toppun.comAs most of you probably already know, Friday, June 24th brought about quite a celebration in the queer community. State senators voted 33-29 to make New York the sixth state to approve same-sex marriage. While the marriage vote is a definite cause for celebration, it’s also important to note that same-sex divorce also got a whole lot easier. Not to be a cynic or anything, but its true that about 50% of marriages these days end in divorce, so why not celebrate the fact that gays can do that too?
