Once again thanks to my friend Ariel, I have been enlightened. She recently sent along the link to this article by Boonsri Dickinson over at SmartPlanet.com, which highlights the top sex-related inventions of 2010. The list included:
- Spray-on condoms, apparently inspired by the notion that in a sort of futuristic attempt at safe sex, a man would insert his penis into a device that would literally spray on a latex condom
- The Rape-aXe, an internal condom with “teeth” designed to latch on to the perpetrator’s junk and prevent rape
- A topical, spray-on male enhancer, thought to help men perform six times longer than usual
But I have to say that my all-time favorite is Roxxxy the Sex Robot. We’ve all heard of blow-up dolls, but this lovely lady does more than look pretty. Designed to carry on a conversation, Roxxxy is essentially a virtual girlfriend that only costs between $7,000 and $9,000…totally worth it, right? Check out the video.
After all of these, I can only begin to imagine what 2011 will have to bring!
