Thanks again to our affiliates at Good Vibrations, I recently received my very own Silicone Kegel Balls by Teneo.
Though these are the first Kegel balls I’ve reviewed, I was really impressed! I wasn’t surprised to hear that the Smartballs won a 2010 award for best product design. The silicone balls come in a variety of colors, and have a sleek, streamlined design…and they kind of look like miniature Death Stars (forgive my nerdy associations).
For those of you that aren’t familiar with Kegel balls, here’s a little info:
-They’re used to strengthen the PC muscles in the pelvic floor.
-They’re a great alternative to traditional Kegel exercises.
-They can be left in for hours at a time during regular daily activities.
-They’re easy to use: simply insert with your fingers, and use the silicone loop to remove.
Here’s what I love:
-They’re adorable! I received the black ones, but they also come in pink, blue, red, and purple.
-They’re extremely user-friendly (see above).
-They’re made for safety (features a slight depression in the molding for insertion and a long silicone loop for removal).
-They don’t take up your whole day- leave them in while you go to work, exercise, cook dinner, whatever…you’ll be strengthening your PC muscles throughout the day!
-At $29, they’re pretty reasonably priced.
How it rates on the scale:
Price: 5
Ease of Use: 4
Safety: 5
Adorability: 5
Stealth: 5
Total Rating: 24/25
Though I’m not the biggest fan of Kegel balls in general (I think Kegel exercises alone will do the job), these are a great choice for those that checking out the available options. Head on over to Good Vibrations to get a pair for yourself!
