Ophoria Beyond One G-Spot Vibrator

Shown next to my hand for size comparison

Once again, thanks to MSP blogger Garnet Joyce, and the fabulous people over at MyPleasure.com, I recently received my very own Beyond One G-Spot Vibrator by Ophoria. Overall, this toy wasn’t my personal favorite, but I figured I’d give all of you a list of pros and cons anyway so you can decide whether or not you want to try it for yourself.

Why I liked it:

  • It’s phallic shaped without actually looking like a penis. I know some people get kind of freaked out when their silicone friends look too realistic, so this is a nice alternative.
  • It’s hot pink! I have to say, I’m usually not a pink fan, but this is actually really cute.
  • It’s silicone, which means it’s super easy to clean, and can be used with a lovely water-based lube.
  • It’s water-proof! Yay! Except you should definitely be careful not to fully submerge it, as there is a handy little battery pack on the end, and, well, I dont want you to get electrocuted. That’s how much I love you all.
  • It has 9 different vibration settings- the first 3 are straight vibrations with various intensities, and the next 6 very in speed, strength, and rhythm.
  • It’s easy to switch through the settings with a slight click of a button on the end of the toy.
  • It can be used for external stimulation as well as internal stimulation.

Why I didn’t like it:

  • The bulb on the end meant for g-spot stimulation is really big. For those that aren’t used to penetration, it might be uncomfortable to use
  • Though it advertises that the ripples on the shaft of the toy are meant for clitoral stimulation, they don’t really do much
  • The whole toy is pretty big, and doesn’t come in a junior size
  • It didn’t come with batteries

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this toy for people that aren’t used to or “into” having penetrative sex. However, for those of you that are, this might just be the toy for you! (But you still might want to add a decent amount of water-based lubricant to facilitate penetration – not everyone finds penetration with a sex toy all that easy.)

Thanks Michaela for the review! Just so you know, you can’t get electrocuted with battery operated toys. If you get water in the battery pack it’ll just ruin the toy itself. Waterproof toys have an o ring that helps keep the seal between the outside and inside of the toy. As long as that o ring is in tact the toy should be waterproof and usually fully submergible.
