Masturbation Sleeves: More Cushion for Your Pushin’

Masturbation sleeves are another term for “pocket pussies” – basically, squishy cylinders that men can insert their penis in and masturbate. You can do that and so much more with a masturbation sleeve, making them a fun surprise gift for boyfriends and husbands. Here are a few things you might want to know about masturbation sleeves:

- Some sleeves have one opening (more like a vagina in the sense that a man’s penis can only go so far before he “hits” something on the other end) whereas others have an opening on each end. Dual opening sleeves are ideal for men with a longer than average penis and they are also well-suited for couples who want to put the sleeve on a man’s penis, push it down toward the base and then hop on top for intercourse.

- They come in different designs so that men can insert their penis into what looks like a vagina, anus, mouth or random objects (flowers, etc). I have yet to see one that looks like a vaccuum cleaner (which some men use for masturbation although it is NOT recommended as it is quite dangerous). But I digress.

- Sleeves are fun but, like most sex toys, they are not meant to last forever. Men can get anywhere from a few uses out of a masturbation sleeve to several dozen uses out of it before it starts to tear a little (or a lot) depending on how vigorously men (or couples) use the sleeve. When it tears, it’s best to throw it out rather than allow it to gather stuff in its crevices.

- The sleeves should be lubed up before men use them. This may be obvious to men, who are used to using lube to slide their penis into tight, dry spaces, but it may not be something that women – when they are buying a sleeve for their partner – think of. So, ladies: if you are buying a sleeve for your partner, buy some water-based lube too.

- Sleeves are multi-purpose. Men’s masturbation sleeves can be used as they sit or lay down and use it to masturbate, or they can prop them in a shoe or in a sofa cushion and have sex with it (put some towels around so as not to get lube or your ejaculate everywhere). They can also be used during sex play or intercourse with a partner.

- Clean your sleeves! Seriously – and please clean them soon after your sex play rather than waiting a while. You don’t want your ejaculate and/or the lube to dry or get too funky.

You can buy masturbation sleeves through most online sex toy shops, adult bookstores and in-home sex toy parties. Have fun!
