Sex Toy Review: We-Vibe 3

We-Vibe 3

Thanks to the lovely ladies at Good Vibrations, I bring to you a brand new toy review! The We-Vibe 3 Couple’s Vibrator is the third in a fantastic series of partner toys. This tiny silicone vibrator offers dual stimulation in two ways (internal/external, you/partner), and packs quite a punch! With this third model, they’ve amped up the power of the vibrations and extended the battery life. What I love:

It’s just so cute! Continue Reading →

Toy Review: Smartballs Teneo Silicone Kegel Balls

Thanks again to our affiliates at Good Vibrations, I recently received my very own Silicone Kegel Balls by Teneo. Though these are the first Kegel balls I’ve reviewed, I was really impressed! I wasn’t surprised to hear that the Smartballs won a 2010 award for best product design. The silicone balls come in a variety of colors, and have a sleek, streamlined design…and they kind of look like miniature Death Stars (forgive my nerdy associations). For those of you that aren’t familiar with Kegel balls, here’s a little info:

-They’re used to strengthen the PC muscles in the pelvic floor. Continue Reading →

Toy Review: MyPleasure Beginner Bondage Kit

Thanks to Garnet, I recently received a complimentary Beginner Bondage Kit from MyPleasure.com. This kit has everything you need to delve into some light bondage play. For $39, you get:

2 heart ring tethers
2 heart ring ankle cuffs
2 heart ring wrist cuffs
 blindfold
rubber whip

Why I Love It:

-The cuffs are faux-fur lined, making them super comfortable

-Both the ankle and wrist cuffs are velcro adjustable, and fit up to 12″ and 10″, respectively

-The rings are shaped like little hearts! Adorable.

Why I Don’t Love It:

-The whip is pretty basic and smells like rubber. Continue Reading →

Sex Toy Review: MyPleasure Waterproof Pocket Rocket

Here we are in the middle of March and I still find myself wondering about how people spend romantic occasions, such as Valentine’s Day. Do you spend them with your partner or prefer flying solo? Do you go out to a fancy dinner or keep it low key and cook at home? Do you surprise a loved one with jewelry or maybe you’re more traditional and stick to the flower/chocolate combo? Well this year – whatever the occasion – I challenge you to spice things up – why not try a sex toy? Continue Reading →

Sex Toy Review: Orgasmic Bliss Vibrator

Receiving the Orgasmic Bliss was quite exciting for me. I approve of sex toys in general, but don’t have that much experience with different kinds of vibrators. So, here’s to excitement and adventure and my first sex toy review. Materials, Cleaning, & Care
The Orgasmic Bliss is made of 100% silicone and it feels pretty nice. It isn’t a hard toy and the bumps on the outside will give a little under pressure. Continue Reading →

Sex Toy Review: The Aneros Prostate Toy

Wow, was I nervous when I got the Aneros in the mail.  First of all, it is one of the first sex toys I had ever had the pleasure of owning.  Second, not only was I going to use a prostate toy for the first time, I was also going to write about the experience and post it on the Internet.  Yikes! However, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use and how comfortable I felt afterwards with the whole encounter.  I would recommend the Aneros to new and seasoned P-spot finders alike.  In terms of recent blockbusters, the experience with it was more “Inception” than “The Expendables” – it wasn’t as intense as expected, but left me thinking about it for many days after. Sex Toy Review: The Tybo Callisto

If you’re interested in sex toys that vibrate and offer multiple points of stimulation, you might like the Tybo Callisto. The Callisto is a dual-action rabbit vibrator, meaning it has a main shaft that can be used for insertion, along with two nubs on opposite sides that can be used for clitoral and/or anal stimulation. With a slim shaft—I’ve included a picture of the vibrator next to some bananas for scale—the Callisto seems like it would be suitable for various kinds of play. Materials, Cleaning, & Care

The vibrator is made of PVC rubber, and the toy is supposed to be waterproof (though haven’t been inclined to test it!). Cleaning is easy using warm water and soap. Continue Reading →

Fairy Pocket Mini USB Vibrator (Video Review)

Not long ago I received the Fairy Pocket Mini USB vibrator to review from MyPleasure. It was a fun surprise to find it on my doorstep as last year around this time I reviewed the original version, the Fairy Mini Wand – and I had been quite impressed. The mini USB version was another home run. Unlike many USB vibrators, the Fairy Pocket Mini is (a) cuter, rather than trying to look all “techie” like some do, (b) more intense, though still with variable speed options as women vary in what they like and (c) small, making it ideal for travel. Just plug it into your laptop for a re-charge and go! Continue Reading →

Sex Toy Shopping Tip #3 relates to g spot, vaginal, rabbit vibrators – and more!

This post is part of a three-part series related to tips for shopping for sex toys (such as vibrators). Read Part 1 and Part 2, and make sure to check back next week for Part 4. Tip #3: Know where you’re going.

When shopping for sex toys, it helps to know what exactly you want to do with it. Buying a Rabbit just because it was on Sex and the City is – as thousands of women have found out – perhaps not the best way to choose a toy. Instead, spend some time thinking about what you know about your body and, if you’re in one, your relationship as a means of figuring out what toy might work for you. Continue Reading →

Sex Toy Shopping Tip #2: Choosing vibrators that are more quiet than loud

This post is Part 2 of a four-part series on shopping for sex toys. If you haven’t already done so, read Part 1, and check back next week for Part 3. Tip #2: Know your (noise) limits. Everyone has their own comfort sound when it comes to sound. Some of us go full throttle with our iPods or televisions (in spite of the potential damage to our ear drums) while others keep the volume more moderate or quiet. Continue Reading →
