Ever Fantasize About Bukkake? This Man’s Wife Does.

Some time ago, a man wrote into us at Kinsey Confidential with a question about one of his wife’s sexual fantasies. Specifically, she had fantasized about having four or more men ejaculate on her face (a practiced sometimes called “bukkake”). He was willing to entertain the idea but also had questions about her safety. Curious about my response? Listen to, or read the text of, my reply in this episode of our Kinsey Confidential podcast. How Breast Play Makes for Better Sex

Whether you call them breasts, boobs, boobies, tatas, gazungas, or something else entirely, I’m sure you have a name for the lovely lady lumps sitting on your or your partner’s chest. And why wouldn’t you? Breasts are an absolute wonder. They attract the attention of men by some mysterious natural force, they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and they just happen to feed and nourish babies, too. But when it comes to sex, breasts often get neglected. Continue Reading →

Dear Prudence (and I!) Tackle Vaginal Pain

In today’s Dear Prudence column on Slate.com, you can find me chiming in on issues related to vaginal pain and difficulty with penetration. Having worked with many writers and columnists over the years, I’ll add the “Dear Prudence” was among the most thoughtful, smart, dedicated (and caring) writers I’ve come across. If you have a question about life, love, family, friends or sex, she’s a good one to ask. [Slate] Continue Reading →

Sex Column Round-Up

What a week! It started out with some very exciting personal news, visits with old friends, and teaching 160 undergraduate students in a human sexuality class (I have THE BEST class! They ask tons of questions, aren’t shy about raising their hands and they are incredibly attentive. Plus funny!). And then yesterday, I woke up with a very sore throat and have been tired and achy all day. Continue Reading →

Sex Columns Galore!

I just got back last night from a sexual health training with about 300 Puerto Rican women – it was amazing! They were an incredibly smart, articulate, interesting and attentive group and I couldn’t have had a better time (Thank you, Denise and Erin!). While I get back on track with work, check out these recent blog posts and sex columns I’ve written:
- Q&A Will She Ever Desire Me Again (from my Men’s Health blog)
- Men peeing when erect, a 16 yr old who wants to buy a vibrator and buildign up semen volume to film the “money shot” at home (from my weekly Time Out Chicago sex column)
- Can you have a fetish for belly dancing women? (from my weekly Time Out Chicago column) – by the way, this question arrived the same week that I was coincidentally starting to take belly dance classes! – Can I Be Friends With Her Boyfriend? Continue Reading →

Can my wife catch a cold from me if she gives me oral sex while I have a cold? Your wife could potentially catch a cold from any close contact with you or with your germs that may be lying around your house, on your telephone, in the bathroom, on your hands or wherever else. She could skip kissing you altogether in an effort to steer clear of your germs and only Continue Reading →

Q&A: Our Sex Life Is Boring. How Can We Fix This?

Our sex life is pretty boring. How do I spice things up without freaking him out? There are numerous ways to spice up a sex life. If you’re looking for physical variation, consider slight modifications to old standby sex positions. In my new sex book, Because It Feels Good, I describe several ways to modify missionary – including one modification called the coital alignment technique that is one of the few well-researched sex positions (it’s been found to make it easier for some women to orgasm).
