A lot of my recent posts have been serious, doom-and-gloom affairs: educators have no sexual rights! alternative sexualities are being oppressed in the U.S. and around the world! things suck! Okay, not that last one. But I wanted to highlight something I see as a really positive development: Poly House Party Weekend. It’s a DIY festival encouraging people to congregate and celebrate free love: whether you’re in an arrangement with more than one lover, or single, or happen to be enjoying monogamy but appreciate that there are other ways of going about relationships. What could be better than an excuse to get down in solidarity?
