Hearts in the Wild: The Dog and Leaf Edition

As long-time readers of MSP know, I adore hearts in the wild (heart-shaped things I find out in the world). On a recent walk with my mostly-white dog (those are her paws there), we came across this leaf shaped like a heart. Seeing it now reminds me of a book I stumbled upon in San Francisco this spring. It’s called Focus: Love and is an entire collection of heart-shaped objects found out in the world. C heck out or buy the book on Amazon for your favorite lover of hearts.

I’m guessing this would be in the book, but I’m reminded of the heart-shaped stone at Saint Michael’s Mount in Cornwall, England. There’s a whole myth around the stone being a giant’s heart.
