DIY Genital Jewelry: With Vulva Love Lovely as Inspiration

While recently browsing Etsy, my ultimate tool of procrastination, I stumbled upon Vulva Love Lovely’s Etsy shop, a store with an incredible variety of vulva and genital-themed crafts! From a Frida Kahlo Uterus Pillow to a Vulva Orchid Necklace to custom made Vulva Portraits, she has an awesome (though sort of expensive) collection of lady-part art! (Debby has a few of her vulva- and uterus-themed pieces in her sex ed collection.)

Since I’m a seriously broke college student, I decided to make my own jewelry and crafts, inspired by this artist’s work. My partner Liv and I made a trip to AC Moore in an attempt to save some money (though we ended up dropping about $50.00 on supplies) and picked up a variety of crafty items. We then proceeded to stay up until 2 am crafting! Here are the results:

Vulvae, uterus, and feminist earrings! Accompanied by recycling symbols, Marcel the Shell, and planets.

Though this isn’t vulva-related, Liv also made me this awesome shirt.
