Juried Erotic Art Show 2008 – CALL FOR ARTISTS
April 11 – July 25, 2008
The Kinsey Institute is now accepting submissions for its third annual juried art show. The competition is open to all artists 18 years and older creating artworks that explore sex, gender, sexuality, eroticism, reproduction, romantic relationships, and/or the sensual human figure. Entries must be original works in the following categories: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, computer based artwork, or mixed media. Entries must be submitted in digital format on CD, and should be identified by artist, title, date, and dimensions. The non-refundable entry fee is $25 for one, $30 for two, and $40 for three entries.
Photographer Herbert Ascherman, Kinsey Institute art curator Catherine Johnson-Roehr, and gallery owner Pet Silvia will jury the exhibit.
